WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jason Lewis (MN-02) issued the following statement after his first Education & the Workforce committee hearing on advancing patient-centered solutions:
“Minnesota is in a health care emergency, as we saw with the premium support package rushed through the state government last week. I know my own family and friends have been hit hard with huge deductibles and premiums. Remember, insurance is not the same as actual access to health care. Our health care reform will make sure everyone has access to quality health care and the most vulnerable don’t fall through the cracks. I’m working to make sure that an effective replacement to Obamacare fixes the problems of staggering costs and portability so that struggling families in and the Minnesota Second District see better days ahead.”
