WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jason Lewis (MN-02) issued the following statement after asking Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Chao about regulation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commonly known as drones:

I look forward to working with Secretary Chao to keep American innovation leading in this field. I’m also committed to ensuring that drone use respects our privacy rights, and I want to ensure the role of local governments in setting standards that best fit their local needs.”
