WASHINGTON, D.C.- Congressman Jason Lewis (MN-02) issued the following statement after voting in favor of “Tax Reform 2.0”, which includes making individual tax cuts permanent.

“Americans have seen bigger paychecks, wage growth, a strengthening economy, small business expansion and more thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. This week I was proud to build upon this growth by supporting Tax Reform 2.0, which includes making individual tax cuts permanent to help hard-working Minnesotan keep more of their hard-earned money and save for their futures.  This tax reform package also gives certainty to our small businesses so they can plan and grow, and we ensured our tax code encourages new and innovate start-up businesses. We also helped families save more by eliminating age restrictions for retirement plans and expanded 529 plans so they can be used on apprenticeships and home schooling costs.”
