Lewis for small business health care coverage
WASHINGTON, D.C.- Congressman Jason Lewis (MN-02) issued the following statement in regard to the Administration’s move to expand affordable health insurance to individuals, families, and small businesses.
"Glad to see the Secretary of Labor remove obstacles for self-employed individuals to join AHPs and save thousands on health care costs. From 2013 to 2016, approximately 7000 MN businesses stopped offering health care due to high costs of Obamacare. I have been working to expand access to affordable options for our small business and their employees and last year the House passed the Small Business Health Fairness Act. Smaller firms should have the same options as large-employer plans."
