WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jason Lewis (MN-02) issued the following statement after voting for Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Community Health Center funding in the Championing Healthy Kids Act, H.R. 3922:
“I’m proud to be an advocate for high-quality, accessible healthcare for low-income kids in Minnesota. This extension of CHIP funding is long-awaited and incredibly important for families in my state. Access to healthcare in rural and underserved areas is also a priority of mine, and I’m glad that my vote today will enable these important community health clinics to keep providing their crucial services in the Second District and around Minnesota.”
